Launch European AI Startup Landscape

The Netherlands has joined the European AI Startup Landscape: an initiative to map the AI startup ecosystem of Europe and increase international opportunities and cooperation.

The European AI Startup Landscape currently consists of about 500 startups from France, Germany and Sweden. On 19 January 2022, the new version with the Dutch selection of startups will be presented during the Swedish Innovation Days, a four-day online and free event. The launch will take place on 19 January between 12:50 and 13:50 hours.

Goal of the initiative
The European AI Startup Landscape will provide a clear overview of the most promising AI startups categorised by country and category. Existing organisations can search the centralised database for AI startups to cooperate with. For the selected startups, this initiative is a great way to present themselves to potential partners, customers and investors. Participating countries have indicated to organise international matchmaking based on this initiative.

The Netherlands AI Coalition is convinced that active collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders is essential to stimulate and connect initiatives in Artificial Intelligence. Within fields of expertise and with other stakeholders in the ecosystem to achieve the most significant result possible in the development and application of AI in the Netherlands. Representatives from the business community (large, small, start-up), government, research and educational institutions and civil society organisations can participate.
