Renovation Wave: using AI within the built environment

During the ‘100 Climate Neutral Cities in Europe by 2030 event’ an online webinar will take place about the role of AI in refurbishing and improving European building stock. The hosts Robert Dijksterhuis, Dutch Sustainable Building Envoy, Ministry of the Interior & Kingdom Relations and Huub Keizers, Coordinator Built Environment of the Netherlands AI coalition will take you on an innovative journey in the use of AI in the building and construction sector.

The online session will take place on 21 June and is titled: ‘Artificial Intelligence and climate neutrality, where and how do they meet in the building and construction sector?’. This event takes place on the occasion of the EU Renovation Wave Strategy, published by the European Commission, and aims to at least double renovation rates in the next ten years and make sure renovations lead to higher energy and resource efficiency. AI is key to fast track this challenging strategy.

The Netherlands AI Coalition is convinced that active collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders is essential to stimulate and connect initiatives in Artificial Intelligence. Within fields of expertise and with other stakeholders in the ecosystem to achieve the most significant result possible in the development and application of AI in the Netherlands. Representatives from the business community (large, small, start-up), government, research and educational institutions and civil society organisations can participate.
